HELT Looking for any information under this surname. Families of Clayton B HELT (1819-1890)and George Jefferson HELT (1840- 1915)originally settled in Cedar County about 1855 by John and Mary (nee Brown) HELT who were the parents of George and Clayton. The family arrived from Washington and Smyth County, Virginia where most were born. John HELT was born in Pennsylvania about 1792 and his parents, Daniel and Christina HELT moved to Virginia about 1795. Both Daniel and Christina died about 1846 in Smyth Co, VA. George Jefferson HELT and Clayton B HELT had many children, some of whom eventually migrated to Vernon County and Kansas/Oklahoma. ANY INDIVIDUAL with the surname of HELT would be of great interest since they would absolutely be related. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Local descendents still reside in Cedar County and throughout Kansas, Oklahoma --------------------------------------------------

Ne. in 1895 moved to Sapulpa, Indian Terr they had Nora D.KINNEY in 1879, Lillie M. 1882 and William R. 1885 would like to know what happened to this family Benjamin later died as a single person in 1909.

I'm searching info on the LYNCH and PETTIGREW families. John Preston LYNCH m. Susan Emily YATES John Preston LYNCH d. 22 Dec. 1926 Commerce, OK buried at Deepwood Cemetery in Nevada, MO Susan Emily LYNCH d. 12 Oct. 1905 Nevada, MO son: Joseph Preston LYNCH m. Bettie Elizabeth PETTIGREW in Nevada, MO 30 July 1915 Bettie was educated at Cottey (Cottez) College Bettie's father was S.E. PETTIGREW. I do not have any info on Joe or Bettie. Did Bettie die? Did they have any children? Did they get a divorce? I find Joseph(Joe) Preston LYNCH in Unionville, MO m. to Emma Jewel FITZWATER on 17 Sept. 1926 Joe worked for a mining company in Webb City, MO wher they made their home after they married. Does anyone know the PETTIGREW familiy? Would like any help?
