Oliver C. Robison is my great grandfather. His marriage cert gives birthplace as Vernon County, Missouri. I have his birthdate from WW1 reg. as 18 Oct 1872. I have a record of his father's name as John Robison and mother's maiden name as May, not sure if that is first or last. I have no record of this family together. I have him in 1910, 1920, 1930 census as an adult, married, but nothing from his childhood.
He was born 8 or 18 Oct 1872 in Vernon County, MO. His father's name was John, born in England, his mother: May. I have much about him from his marriage in 1901 in Nebraska on, but nothing about his childhood. Have not been able to find a census with this family together. I have his birth from his marriage cert and WW1 reg. I realize that birth certs don't go back that far. Any hope of finding anything about this family in Vernon Co?
Any hope?.

My name is Carol Wilcoxen and I am searching for information about my gg grandparents, Abraham and Josephine Jones Meadows. I know that Abraham was born about 1834 and died in 1909. Josephine Jones was born in 1840 and was still alive for the 1910 Census, but have not been able to find her date of death or any information after that date. Their eldest daughter Delilah Ellender Meadows (1864-1921) married William Hiram Mayfield (1856-1941). They separated but never divorced (that I can find) in the early part of the 20th century 1902?. I can be reached at 1800 N. Broom Street, #1001, Wilmington, DE 19802. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

The 1880 Federal Census for Schell City shows a Susan ROOK and her daughter, Stella, living in the home of S. A. and Rebecca HILL. I am trying to determine if there is a relationship between the HILL and ROOK Family. Susan ROOK married my g-grandfather, Henry HARDESTER, in 1881 in Bates County.
Is anyone researching, or have information on, this HILL Family

hello, I am trying to find my great grandmother's maiden name. This is what I know about her: In the 1880 census, she's listed as living in Virgil, Vernon Co. Mo. Her name is Sarah A. (don't know if the A is the beginning of her middle name or maiden name). She was married to james Campbell Sharp. She was born in 1838 in Missouri and her mother was born in Indiana. Doesn't say where her father was born or their names. She had 7 children listed on the 1880 census. I know James and Sarah and their children moved to Oregon and she died in Baker Co. but know nothing about her side of the family. Can you help me find out her family? I do know James and Sarah were married in Missouri, and their oldest child is listed as 19 in 1880, and he was born in Missouri, too, so James and Sarah must have been married in Missouri, prior to 1861. Thank you for your help.

My name is Harry Van Trees. My great great grandfather is Henry Houk who lived in Deerfield in the 1870 census. I believe he died in June 1874 in Deerfield. I am trying to confirm that and find his cemetary. His father was also Henry Houk who I believe died in 1865 but I don't know where. In the 1850 census, they both lived in Deerfield, Warren, Ohio and I can't find them in the 1860 census. I would appreciate any info that you could provide. Thank you.

I'm searching information on John McMenamy. He had 2 daughters, Rosa & Silvia. John was born Aug. 1858 in Missouri and only appears on the 1900 & 1910 census'. I am curious who his wife was and more about this man. I found a "John McMennamy" with children Pink & Prince. I didn't know if this was cousins.
