Hello,
My name is Donna Egbert. I am trying to find information on my G-Grandparents.
Their names were: Harriet Louise Barnhill -she may have been previously married to a Mr. Beard.
married about 1893 -John Franklin Shellenberger - There is a Father and Son by the the same name. The Father died about 1905 in Rich Hill MO.
They lived in Rich Hill, and Metz,Vernon Co. about 1880-1900.
Also if possible Annie Barnhill - sister to Harriet Barnhill married to Sylvester Theodore Shellenberger- brother to younger John F.
in 1888 Shellenberger.
They also lived in Rich Hill I believe at the same time.

Looking for information on the family of Ezra and Angeline Fleming BURR. From what I can tell Frank (Benjamin Franklin) and sis Martha Susan were in Vernon Co. in 1884 and 1886 when they married Iddie MISENER and John ANGLETON. Sis Addie m. Thomas SEELEY in 1888. I can't tell yet whether their parents Ezra and Angeline came to MO or not. They were living in Tioga Neosho KS in 1880. I'd appreciate any help on this family. They have been a brick wall for a long time.

I am looking for information on Ira Austin Ewell, born 13 Jan. 1842. He married Sarah Summers on 30 March 1872 in Vernon Co. of Missouri. They had 7 children: James Clinton (my grandfather), Frank, Sam, Atta, Mollie, Minnie, and Henry. His son James Clinton married Alfena Clawson in Texas and they had 6 children: James John, Isabell Dorothy, Alfena, Toney Nell, Monroe Cunningham, and Willie Lee, who was my father. The 1870 Missouri census shows William James Jolliff and wife Emily (Lackey) enumerated in Virgil twp, Vernon Co. along with daughter Mary who was born about 1869. William was born 26 Mar 1843 in Missouri (maybe Knox Co.) Emily was born about 1851 in Indiana. Were there more children?? Seeking further details and death data.

Timber Cemetery/Harrison Township/Vernon Co., MO
Does anyone know where this cemetery might be located, or if it now goes by a different name? It is suspose to be located about 8 miles south of Fort Scott, KS, but we believe on the Missouri side of the state line. Have a GGGrandmother Mary "Polly" Wentworth that died in 1845 and is suspose to be buried there. Any help appreciated.

I am searching for my Gr.Gr.Gr.Grandmother Charity aka as Charlotte Black. Her maiden name was Baze, and her first marriage was to James Ross. Her second marriage was to Abel Black. Charlotte was born in Tn. and then moved to Barry Co.Mo. James died in 1850 and she remarried Abel in 1852 at Barry Co.MO. He died in 1863/64 at Barry Co.Mo. According to documents Charlotte was in Vernon Co.Nevada,Mo. by 1868 as this is the address of residence she gave to the War Dept.
She must have been living with her daughter Sarah Jane nee Ross Willoughby as this is also her address along with a Madison Walker. Im not sure the correct year when she moved from Barry Co. to Vernon Co. Documents show that her next residence was in Van Buren,Crawford Co.Ark. by 1883. If anyone has any information about any of these people I have mentioned, Please contact me asap. I have alot of info. from James Ross and Charity(Charlotte) Ross,Black offsprings.

I am trying to find information on my wife's Father's family. Her father was William Sylvester Beecham. His father was John W(esley?) Beecham (Beachem). His father was William Beecham (Beachem). I know that John was born in Missouri. He also stated on his marriage license that his father was born in Ohio. I found a William Beachem (born Ohio) in Lake, Vernon, Missouri for the 1880 Federal Census. He has a son John W. with the approximately correct age.
