PINCKARD, Patrick McLine
Hello,
I am searching for any information on my GGG father, listed above. I recently discovered a family Bible entry which lists his death in Nevada, Vernon County, MO on September 23, 1871.
He died of typhoid fever, and was buried beside his wife, Lucy Jane LYELL Pinckard, in Bellefontain Cemetery, St. Louis.
I would be interested to know what Patrick Pinckard's ties were to Vernon County, and any accounts of typhoid outbreaks during that time frame. His wife, listed above, also died of it on January 20, 1870, in St. Louis.
His place of birth is not noted in the Bible, though his birthdate is: April 22, 1822. His parents were William G. and Elizabeth Pinckard.
He married his wife on September 9, 1846, and their children were raised in Macon County, MO.
Some of their children were given these surnames for middle names: MCNEIL, ERVIN (or EWIN).
Thank you,
Carla Hunter Southwick

Any information, even clues regarding these families or information on the Christian Churches in this area would be greatly appreciated.
