I am inquiring about my step Uncle Robert Eugene Lee born in 1922 to Ernest & Thelma Lee in Missouri. He was a twin and his twin and mother passed away at childbirth. He was born with Infantile paralysis and later contracted Epilepsy. His father, Ernest remarried Mary Lee. They could not care for Robert and he was placed in the State Home in Nevada, Mo. and spent most of his life there. He has 6 step siblings. Thelma, Wanda, Glenna, Ernest Jr., Wilma and Sheri. I am looking for any information on my great-grandfather James Charles Coates. All I know is that he was a postal worker that lived in Nevada, Missori. He had past away June 2, 1932. He was very known in Vernon and Bates County as Charlie Coates. He was born somewhere in Texas. When he was two years old his family moved to Bates County. Thirty years after that he moved to Walker and then a few years later he moved to Nevada to make his home. While he lived in Bates County he married Mattie White. They had eight children. Shortly after Mattie gave birth to the eighth child Mattie died. On November 29, 1906, he married Mattie Ann Harold. He was buried in Deepwood Cemetery. I want to know if he was buried to Mattie White his first wife or his second wife Mattie Harold. Also if anyone can find a obituary on him I would appreciate it.
