I am looking for information on Henry Township, Vernon Co., MO. My family was listed as living there in the 1880 census, however I have been unable to find any information on the Township. I would also like to know if there were any deaths/marriages of my family there. The information I have says that Albert Atlas Walkup was born in MO, Nov 1874. His older sister, Lizzie, and younger brother, Fred were also born here. Siblings, Jenne, George, and Isabella were born elsewhere. All of there parents were Orsammus and Julia Walkup, both born in New York (I believe Cicero, Onondaga Co.) If anyone has any information, I would be most aprreciative!!

Looking for information on a baby boy born in Nevada, Vernon, Missouri on November 29, 1892. He was adopted by the SMITH family leaving for Oregon about two years later. The baby's boy's adopted name was GRANT BENNETT SMITH. Adopted parents names were WILLIAM MARTZ SMITH and ALMA LOUISE BENNETT.
