JAMES GREENVILLE WILSON

 

   James Greenville Wilson died suddenly Friday night at the home of his nephew, Carl Wilson, about seven miles southeast of Metz, of cerebral hemorrhage.  Funeral services were held from Horton M. E. church Sunday at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. W. B. Bull, and the remains were buried at Balltown cemetery.  Deceased was a native of Illinois, and was aged seventy-two years and ten months.  He had resided in the locality where he died for many years, but for the past few years had lived in Illinois and was back here on a visit.  He was a veteran of the Civil war and his remains were buried in the G. A. R. lot.  Undertaker Henry Pond had charge of the burial and reports a large crown in attendance at the funeral.
