RAWLEY RAMSEY

Rawley Ramsey's Store Robbed

The general merchandise store of Rawley Ramsey was robbed Wednesday night of last week.  The front door of the store was forced open with a pinch bar.  The robbers evidently drove a motor car.  The good stolen included shoes, overalls, silk hose, watches, flashlights and many other things.  The shoes were taken from the boxes and fifty six boxes were scattered over the floor.  The loss is estimated at between $300 and $600.  A car, said to be a speeder, came to town from the south.  It departed on the east road and was tracked to Arthur where it went south on the Jefferson Highway.  Sheriff W. W. Marshall and Prosecuting Attorney Dan Z. Gibson came over from Nevada that morning with a view of getting clue to work on, but so far the robbers have not been located.
