Precious Delorrain Caton, daughter of Hugh M. and Nancy Ann (Harvey) Caton, was born April 8, 1858 in Vernon County, MO. It is recorded in Vernon County Marriage Record Book C, page 3, that she was married to George A. Moffatt of Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 7, 1881 in Vernon County.
Precious died on October 27, 1881, shortly following their arrival in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. She is buried there in Hazel Dell Cemetery.
